Software engineering and consulting

We build mobile applications and advise on the systems behind them.

ikiz.dev designs and builds apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, develops custom software for organisations, and consults on software architecture, cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure. We publish our own applications on the App Store, so our advice is grounded in products we ship and maintain ourselves.

Applications we ship

5 applications designed, built and maintained by ikiz.dev, available on the App Store. They are the clearest evidence of how we work: focused tools that solve one problem well.

03 Approach

How we work

Scope in writing

Every engagement starts with a written scope: what is being built or reviewed, what is out of bounds, and how both sides will know it is done. Changes to scope are agreed the same way.

You talk to the engineers

The people who write the code or the report are the people you speak to. Questions get answered by someone who knows the system, and decisions are explained with their reasoning.

Deliverables you own

Source code lives in repositories you control. Documentation, infrastructure definitions and reports are written so that your team, or another supplier, can pick them up without us.

Maintenance is part of the plan

A shipped app still needs operating system updates, API changes and store reviews handled. We plan and quote for that from the start instead of treating it as an afterthought.
